Hi! My name is Vincent Gollotto. I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attended Cherry Hill High School West in Cherry Hill New Jersey and now study Television and Digital Media with concentration in Sports Media and Journalism at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. My academic goal is to maintain a 3.5 gpa and make the Dean’s List each semester. To build my personal brand I have worked and participated in counless projects in my field of study. I have worked as a photographer for StudiOne Action Shots for almost four years, capturing some of the largest youth sporting events and tournaments New Jersey has to offer. I was also Senior Editor of my high schools Broadcasting program at Cherry Hill West. In college I have joined the Red Hawk Sports Network, Photography Club and Video Production Club. As always I will get myself on any sideline possible looking to get some action shots in my free time as well.
My two passions are sports and working behind the camera. They perfectly overlap in the Sports Media and Journalism field. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of one day stepping out onto the ice for the Philadelphia Flyers or hitting a walk-off home run for the Philadelphia Phillies. As I grew up I realized, as most people do, that my athletic ablility just was not going to cut it. However, I still dream of one day stepping out onto professional sports fields…. but as a member of the media instead.
My dream job would have to be for NFL Films. They are located just minutes from where I live in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. NFL Films is an institution in the sports media world. The sole producer of the most popular leauge in America. Job stability at its finest. I would love to be involved with gameday production. I love being at the stadiums on game day so being able to partake in the production of the broadcast of a big NFL game would be a dream of mine. I would also love to work on their longform pieces like Hard Knocks. Sideline photographer would have to be my pick however. Being able to capture NFL history would be so fufilling. I am trying to get myself involved in the field as much as Covid allows right now. I am excited once Montclair Sports start back up to work with them and the Red Hawk Sports Network and hopefully this summer get an internship in the field as well.
To get from here to my dream job I will have to work my tail off. I’ll stay gritty, stay focused and get my name out there when and wherever possible. A small internship could lead to big connections so I will never turn down work.
